from Paris, Wilfried is a songwriter
and singer;
Wilfried* belongs to an imaginary community of independant artists,
in which you would find amongst others Anne Laplantine, Smog,
Vincent Gallo, Red and Herman Dune, to the later he actually
provoqued their meeting with Prohibited Records in 1998. For
"Songs for mum & dad", Wilfried* made the choice of
working at home, in the most strict intimity, facing his computer
and himself, sometimes sided by F.lor for production (mix &
takes at PUSH, Paris). The record has been enrichened by collaborations
with a constellation of guests: Anne Laplantine, O.lamm, Gel:(aka
dorine_muraille), David Ivar Herman Dune, André Herman Dune,
Flop, F.lor et Anne. Wilfried*'s voice reminds the sweetness
of brazilian singers such as Caetano Veloso and drops in english
and in french on brilliant musical canvases, possibly taking
a frank pop posture or leaving room for some 80's style arrangements.
