Juicy
Panic
|
|
|
= Mami Chan
(jp) + Norman Bambi (uk/fr).
Both known by their solo projects and worldwide collaborations,
Mami and Luc released the first Juicy Panic record in 2004.
They also appears on the last Gangpol
und Mit album (2005).
They are mixing japanese and european kitsch pop culture, using
cheap synthesizers, toys, happiness... and of course the sweet
high-pitched voice of Mami Chan.
Like a japanese soundtrack for a Tatiesque (very) fun fair.
Mami Chan is very active on stage with several collaborations,
with Dragibus, Andrew Sharpley
and Emiko Otah (Ae), Fred Poulet... and of course the Mami Chan
Band.
They also runs together the cute sound design studio Ponpoko.
