also recorded quite a lot of stuff for Cologne's finest label
Staubgold under the name of Gunter
Adler, as well as with his group Grönland Orchester, on
laptop and electronics. Musically he teams up with Sebastian
Reier on volcano-guitar. Their name pays tribute to the frivolous
medieval music, but their music is far away from that. Mixing
electronically processed analogue guitar, computer, electronics
as well as concrete sounds and beatz, they create a kind of
half-improvised music that kicks ass instead of boring people
with too much academic referentiality - their live sets add
another component: the strong and colorful atmospheric visuals
by BaronesseA who is also the designer of Nneon.
First album released this year on Nneon (by the way Sebastian
is also the Nneon boss)
